  1. The publication of this list is very important. It orientates scientists before submitting a paper. Also, it helps us professors to make the students understanding when we return their papers asking for improvements. They always come with some garbage published in a supposed “high quality” journal, and then we have the support of the list explaining why that garbage was published. As many scientists, every day I received at least 3-5 emails offering to publish in one of those journals. And, when revising manuscripts for some of the “supposed high quality” journals recently added to the list, I had the bad experience of receiving a emails asking if I could reconsider my review denying publication, as it was “of interest of the public of the journal”. I do not review papers of journals included in the list anymore.
