Abstract : IFRS were established as International Accounting Standards in 1972-73 to be worldwide accepted language of Financial Reporting. This Descriptive study concentrates on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) highlighting the concept of IFRS and its emergence. This study brings out a details statistics about how many countries comes under IFRS. It also brings in a detail presentation on the various IFRS, IAS, IFRIC and SIC standards which exist as on December 2019.
