Abstract : In any scheme of planned economic development of the country, therefore, agricultural re-organization and land reform hold the position of basic importance. Recently, on account of the growing need for food and raw materials, this importance has been brought home to all sections of the community. The success of the whole plan will vitally depend upon the results achieved in making the most advantageous use of land and labor resources engaged in agriculture. In this sense, the importance of agriculture is both basic and vital.
