Oral thrush is a condition in which the fungus Candida albicans accumulates on the lining of mouth. It is well known that Candida species are normal commensals of oral cavity in up to 50% of the healthy population but these commensals can cause opportunistic infection of the oral cavity, specially when person is having co-morbid disease that reduces the immune strength of patient as like in diabetes.
